Cathodic Protection Services
Cathodic Protection Services
Cathodic Protection Preliminary Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation Studies: We conduct various measurements and analyses to identify and prevent corrosion risks.
As part of our preliminary design studies, the basic surveys we conduct on-site include:
- Current Requirement Test: We perform detailed tests to determine the amount of current needed for cathodic protection systems.
- Soil Resistance, pH, and Redox Measurements: We evaluate corrosion risk by measuring the soil resistance, environmental pH value, and electrochemical potential of the structures.
- Existing Cathodic Protection System Measurements: We analyze the performance of existing cathodic protection systems to check their effectiveness.
- Interaction of the System with Surrounding Structures: We examine the interaction of cathodic protection systems with surrounding structures to ensure the long-term effectiveness of the system.
Cathodic Protection Project Design and Implementation:
We design and install cathodic protection systems according to national and international standards to provide corrosion protection for various structures and facilities.
- Corrosion Protection of Wharves, Piers, and Platforms: We develop cathodic protection projects to ensure the longevity and safety of marine structures.
- Natural Gas, Oil, Drinking Water, and Fire Hydrant Pipelines: We offer specially designed cathodic protection systems for natural gas, oil, drinking water, and fire hydrant pipelines. These systems focus on preventing damage from corrosion, reducing not only material costs but also operational losses and the significant impacts that can arise from system shutdowns.
- Reinforcement Bars in Concrete: We prevent the corrosion of reinforcement bars with galvanic and impressed current systems.
- Water Tanks, Crude Oil Tanks, LPG Tanks: We offer specially designed cathodic protection systems for the corrosion protection of storage units such as aboveground and underground water tanks, crude oil tanks, and LPG tanks. These systems aim to provide long-lasting and safe use by protecting the metal structures of the tanks from environmental effects. We develop solutions for each tank in accordance with relevant national and international standards, ensuring full compliance with local regulations. In this way, we offer our customers services with the highest standards of reliability and effectiveness.
- Cathodic Protection Projects for Ships, Yachts, Barges, and Floating Docks: We offer specially designed cathodic protection projects for the long-term protection of marine vehicles such as ships, yachts, barges, and floating docks. In high-corrosion environments like seawater, we develop solutions that provide effective protection for ship hulls and other marine structures. For each project, we customize the design of the cathodic protection systems and ensure compliance with international maritime standards. This way, we provide our customers with safe and sustainable marine vehicle protection solutions.
Cathodic Protection Operation and Maintenance Services:
- Pipe/Ground Potential Measurement: We regularly measure the ground potential of pipelines to continuously monitor the effectiveness of cathodic protection systems.
- Pile/Sea Potential Measurement: By determining the electrochemical potential of pile foundations in marine environments, we optimize our corrosion prevention strategies.
- Tank/Ground Potential Measurement: We measure the ground potential of storage tanks to analyze and mitigate corrosion risk by implementing preventive measures.
- Anode Current Measurement: We measure the protection current provided by the anodes used in cathodic protection systems to continuously monitor system effectiveness.
- TR (Transformer Rectifier) Unit DCV and DCA Measurements: We measure the voltage and current values of transformer rectifier (TR) units, which are critical in cathodic protection systems, to optimize system performance.
- Anode Bed Resistance Measurements: We regularly measure the resistance of anode beds to evaluate the efficiency of cathodic protection systems and make improvements as necessary.
- Evaluation of Cathodic Protection Criteria: We meticulously analyze corrosion control criteria by thoroughly assessing system performance and developing suitable solutions.
- Preparation of Operation and Maintenance Evaluation Reports: We prepare comprehensive reports containing the results of measurements and analyses to ensure the long-term performance of cathodic protection systems.
